Mottos, Mess and Mistakes

Like my alliteration thing up there? I wanted a nice title for this post considering I haven't posted recently. This whole post will be about my life these days and how its a bundle of joy! Sarcasm of course.

So, lets start off with mottos. I have two that I have been thinking and saying recently.
First one: "The Piano makes the music but your voice makes the song."
This basically means that there are other things around to support you but only you can make the whole situation come together. I was listening to music the other day and this thing came in my head. I've been lazy these weeks so I needed something that will tell me to push on and do something. I make the song, therefore I make my life, my own. I have to control it. I can't just leave it to the music.
Second motto: "We have a fight. You can talk about, I'll just write a song about it."
This one is pretty self-explanatory but I'm living by it. I'm not going to have a fight with someone and let it drag me down. I'll vent all my feelings onto paper and look back and laugh at the inspiration for the song. Its the only way to do it.

Lets go onto Mess. I've got into a mess lately. A big ole' piece of drama. It started off with a comment by a girl about my friend, I said to the girl "Hey, don't say that on facebook. Not being a meanie but its not nice." Not in those words, she'd be more freaked out then annoyed but ya know. Similar. So the girl goes rude and is like "Shut up. Imma punch you! I'll say what I want! Come fight with me!" Again, not in those words. But similar. So then she phones up my house, and I'm like "How the heck did she get my number?" She speaks to my Mum and is rude to her aswell. Then she gets a teacher involved. Then we all get into trouble. Then we had to give evidence. Then we were called in the next day to speak about it. Then the other girl got into more trouble than us. Long story, short I got into a little trouble. But the girl is an idiot.

Now, Mistakes I have been having a few friend mistakes. I don't know who to trust. People I have not done anything to will be horrible right to my face for no reason. This is part of my motto. I'm going to write songs about it. My number of songs is three now. All based on one girl. Maybe I should change inspiration. I don't considering myself the most amazing song writer but I am doing good for someone my age and I have had good comments for the songs I have written. I don't sing. But you can do a cover if you want. So, basically, my friends can be douches. I need to find the right ones. Ones who won't just change and become besties with someone else and then backstab them.

Hope your all good. Hope your doing well.
Hope you like the mottos.

Review of Nick J and the Admin's album

Heres my full review of Nick Jonas and the Administration's album 'Who I am'. Its a track by track run through with opinions on the music side and stuff. ENJOY! :)

Rose Garden- I love how this song tells a story and it is like a poem with instruments and beats. Its kinda soul. I like the chorus alot, Nick's voice sounds so good. I can imagine sitting in a garden full of roses with it raining. I'm totally gonna do that, then film it, then post it on youtube. My favourite line from this song would have to be "Out of a beautiful mistake". I love the phrase "beautiful mistake". It just always speaks to me in songs or whatever. I also like the phrase "the perfect accident" and its the name of one of my favourite song's "The Perfect Accident" by Jesse Labelle. Back to Nick. So, this is an amazing song that is slow but has a powerful tempo to it. This song sounds like its about Selena. She has a young Mum, her real father left and she worked at a young age.

Who I am- So this is the title-track and the first single. I like the beginning and how soft it is. I also like how Nick gets so into it and his voice is so powerful. He has the most amazing vocals in the world. Period. I like how the lyrics are basically saying "Don't judge me" along with the video. Its a song with a powerful message and I like that. Although it's not my favourite song, its still an amazing song. Like all of them. I like how all my friends, who don't actually like the Jonas Brothers, have told me they like this song. Nick changes people.

Olive & An Arrow- This song is one of the most lyrically amazing. Nick's voice is so pure in this song. Its a soulful song which kinda tells a story of loving someone being amazing and then being a brat. Well, something like that. I love the whole presidency link to the name. Smart Nick. I love how Nick can get so high for a boy. Thats talent. I love the instrumental part in this song. Its something that makes me want to dance slowly to. Nick also does very good "Ooh ooh"'s in this song. After the instrumental, Nick gets into it and brings so much power to the song. I personally think its about Miley.

Conspiracy theory- One of my favourites!! Seriously. I love the whole way this song was set out. Nick screaming, Nick "Oohh"-ing, Nick getting all powerful. That just makes a song perfect. I also love the lyrics. Nick said this one was about aliens. Yeah, it does sound very Alien-y to me, to be honest. Well the lyrics do. This song actually seems quite short to me. Maybe I'm just picky but ya know. I also like how Nick just sings with a guitar strum at one point, thats cool. So yeah, one of the best songs on the album. Favourite part "Better that you didn't know, better that they didn't show." Oh and I love the part at the end where the guitar is on for like four seconds. Thats cool aswell.

In the end- Probably the best lyrically written song. Nick's voice is beautiful in this. Like always. But in this one it justs stands out. My favourite line "It all comes back to haunt you in the end. It hurts the most when you don't have a friend." That line just speaks to me so much. I love the instruments used in this song and the tune of it. Its really amazing. Not my favourite slow song but its still an amazing song! Nick is so whiney in this but thats good. Very good.

Last time around- Okay. This is another favourite of mine. I love how Nick shows off his flirty side in the first verse. Bahahahaa. I love flirty Nick. I also love the lyrics to this and the very good tempo. I personally think its about Selena but I dunno. I'm not sure on this one. To be honest, it could be about anyone but its still an amazing song. Its basically saying that you may find someone else to date but just don't forget me. Its a good break-up song where someone cheated on you. Or it could be a about an old relationship when you've seen your ex with another girl. Whatever it means to you, its still amazing.

Tonight- Ahhh well this has always been one of my favourite songs. I love the up-tempo version but I love this version even more! I can't really focus on the lyrics because they weren't writen for this album but they are amazing lyrics all the same. Nick goes so high in this song which makes it sound beautiful. I love how he made Pop into soul by slowing the tune down. I also love the backing vocals :) Oh and Garbo wrote parts in this song which makes it awesome. Because Garbo is awesome.

State of Emergency- Another great, great, great song. I was banging my head to this the first time I heard it. Its got a great tune and Nick sounds great in the vocals. The lyrics are are amazing. "She'll charge you by the hour to a straight trip down to hell." One of my favourite lines. I love the metaphorical reference to it. I love how Nick is powerful but then he goes high and I'm like "WOAH". I also love the title of this song. Its just a strong title. Its random how much I love it. But I do love it. So much.

Vesper's Goodbye- My favourite slow song. One of my favourite songs. Its just too beautiful. I cried when I first heard it. I love the piano work in it. All it is Nick singing and the piano and a bit of guitar in the first verse. "Lay me down to rest, its a lover's final breath." Thats my favourite line. Out of all the songs! The message in the song is wonderful and I am so glad Nick put this on the record. I don't know why but I am so thankful. I think I needed this song for whatever reason. I need to see Nick perform this live. I have never cried at 'A Little bit longer' but I would cry for this song.

Stronger (back on the ground) - I like the drumming in this song. I like how Nick is calm and cool in the first verse. The message is cute, wondering if someone will be there for you. I like cute messages. If your ever sending me a card, send me one with a cute message :) I like Nick's "Wooh Ooh"'s in this. "I wanna know I'm not the only one around, can you show me something deeper than I found?" This song is funk. Very funk. With some soul. I like the part when Nick repeats "Making me stronger" about three times. Thats cool. Then it speeds up and is more powerful. Theres also like some choir thing in the background which makes it sound special but not preachy which is good.

Overall, an amazing album. You may say its typical coming from a fan but this album isn't what you'd normally here from a Jonas Brother. I recommend everyone buy it. If you've bought it, have it on replay :)

Hay Nick Jay, Your amazay!

Okay. Imma make this blog quick, kay? Brief and stuff.
So, Nick Jonas is amazing. Period.
Okay bye
x
haha
kiddin
So Nick Jonas and the Administration's album "Who I am" was released four days ago in the UK. My parents made me wait till today to get it. It was worth the wait. Because I have been crying to "In the end" and "Vespers Goodbye" while nodding my head like yeah to "Conspiracy Theory" and "Last Time Around". I will do a play-by-play of the tracks off the album tommorow but I have to be quick with this post. Bed time soon for me.
Anyway, I think Nick Jonas is genius. As well as the Administration. John and Michael are my favourites :) Johns always been a big inspiration for me and Michael is just awesome. So are Sonny and Tommy. But John and Michael = <3
So, when I do the run through, I'll get opinionated, deep and gossipy. Prepare for the worst.

The word 'Goodbye'

Now I just saw this video of Selena gomez leaving her family at LAX(Here :)). It reminded me of how powerful the word 'Goodbye' is.
Definition of Goodbye- An act of parting or leave-taking:
'Goodbye' can be used anywhere. You can be parting with a loved on to go on a journey, you can be leaving to go to the shops or it can simply be finishing a phone call. 'Goodbye' is one of the most common words used today, but most people get the meaning of it wrong. 'Goodbye' doesn't necesscarily have to be a bad thing. You could just be going into town for an hour and your saying 'Goodbye' as an acknowledgment of your leaving. You could be saying 'Goodbye' when you finish performing onstage infront of hundreds of people to show that the concert is finished. Basically, the word 'Goodbye' isn't something to be afraid of.
Yes, saying 'Goodbye' can sometimes be hard. You could say 'Goodbye' to a boyfriend you've hard for numerous years because a relationship wasn't working out. You could say 'Goodbye' to a family member who is going to war and you will not see face-to-face for a few years. You could even be saying a sad 'Goodbye' while flushing a pet fish down the toilet that you have grown to love in the amount of time spent with him.
For me, saying 'Goodbye' is a way to finish memories off and start new ones. For example, if you are at a party and having fun, there is a time when you will have to say 'Goodbye'. You'll hug people and shake hands, as a sign of graciousness towards them being there. You will have made memories with these people at the party, even if they were very small. When saying 'Goodbye' you are acknowledging those memories and keeping them safe in your mind. After parting ways, you will start making news ones which you will have to say 'Goodbye' to but will always be there throughout your life.
That Selena video really made me think about how hard 'Goodbye''s can be. They are moments that are special, connecting with more than two people.
I hope this post has made you realise how important the word 'Goodbye' is and how it can show how you appreciated that someone was there in the first place.
Gracias.
